The single-crystal rock sugar machine is the core equipment in modern sugar manufacturing that enables efficient and standardized production of rock sugar. By precisely controlling the crystallization process, it can produce single-crystal rock sugar products with uniform particle size and high transparency.

  I. Technical Principle of Single-Crystal Rock Sugar Machines

The core of the single-crystal rock sugar machine lies in achieving directional crystallization of the sugar solution by precisely controlling temperature, concentration, and stirring conditions.

Sugar Solution Preparation: Mix granulated sugar with water according to a specified ratio, then heat the mixture to 80–90℃ until the sugar is completely dissolved, forming a saturated sugar solution.

Filtration and purification: Remove impurities from the sugar syrup using a filter screen or filter to ensure crystal quality.

Vacuum evaporation: The sugar solution is fed into a vacuum crystallization tank, where it is concentrated by evaporation at a low temperature (40–60℃) until it reaches a supersaturated state, thereby avoiding high-temperature caramelization reactions.

Seed Crystal Addition: Tiny rock sugar crystals are added to the supersaturated sugar solution as seed crystals. Sugar molecules then arrange themselves in an orderly manner on the surface of these seed crystals and gradually grow into single-crystal rock sugar.

Crystal Separation and Drying: The rock sugar crystals are separated from the mother liquor using a centrifuge, then dried with hot air to remove moisture, yielding the finished single-crystal rock sugar.

II. Composition of Single-Crystal Rock Sugar Machine Equipment

A monocrystalline rock sugar production line typically consists of the following core equipment:

Syrup preparation system: Includes a sugar dissolving tank, a heating device, and a filter, used to prepare a pure, saturated sugar solution.

Vacuum crystallization tank: Made of stainless steel, it is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. Equipped with a stirring device and a vacuum system, it ensures uniform crystallization of the sugar solution.

Temperature Control and Automation System: Precisely controls the temperature, pressure, and humidity within the crystallization tank, monitors and adjusts parameters in real time to ensure a stable crystallization process.

Sugar-unloading and sorting equipment: Includes sugar-unloading machines, grading screens, and honey-removal machines, used to separate rock sugar crystals, remove molasses and impurities, and grade and package the sugar according to particle size.

III. Production Advantages of Single-Crystal Rock Sugar Machines

High crystallization efficiency: The single-crystal rock sugar machine uses a vacuum environment to lower the boiling point, thereby accelerating the concentration and crystallization processes of the sugar solution and significantly shortening the production cycle.

Stable product quality: The automated control system ensures consistent crystallization conditions, resulting in uniform, highly transparent single-crystal rock sugar granules with a sucrose content of over 99.8%.

Low energy consumption and costs: Modern monocrystalline rock sugar machines feature energy-efficient designs, allowing one operator to handle 16 to 20 units simultaneously and produce between 1.2 and 3.5 tons of monocrystalline rock sugar, significantly reducing both energy and labor costs.

Easy to operate: The equipment features a high degree of integration and a user-friendly interface, allowing users to get started without requiring complex training, making it ideal for large-scale industrial production.

IV. Application Scenarios for Single-Crystal Rock Sugar Machines

Food Processing: Due to its high purity and excellent solubility, single-crystal rock sugar is widely used in the food industry—including beverages, candies, and baked goods.

Household Consumption: Small-packaged single-crystal rock sugar is convenient to carry and use, making it ideal for everyday needs such as brewing beverages and seasoning dishes.

Through technological innovation and equipment optimization, the single-crystal rock sugar machine has achieved standardization and large-scale production of rock sugar, providing strong support for the high-quality development of the sugar industry.
